2004 South Top Prospect Showcase
Kyle Hancock is a 2005 RHP from Rowlett, TX. Hancock just threw an inning on the last day, sort of as a between starts bullpen. We’ve seen Hancock before and know him to be one of the top right handed pitching prospects in the 2005 class. He has a slender but very projectable 6'3", 185 lb. body and a lightening quick arm. Hancock’s first warm up pitch was 90 mph and he was pretty steady at 91 during his inning on the mound. We've seen him even better. Hancock’s 76-78 mph hammer of a curveball is one of the top breaking pitches in the country and can be a big time strikeout pitch. He has the potential to be a very high draft pick next June. Kyle is one of the best RHP in the 05 class and a good student.
