Justin Meier is a 2010 C with a 5'11'', 200 lb. frame from Clarendon Hills, IL who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. Broad shoulders, good overall strength, durable catcher's build. Good looking swing, square athletic stance, uses lower 1/2 well, balanced at contact, good swing extension, should hit for power in future, shows bat speed, good overall hitting tools/approach. Low set up catching, spread feet, handled velocity well, quick release/transfer, shows some arm strength, developing lateral quickness/blocking skills. Good student.
