Willy Yahn is a 2014 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Sharon, CT who attends Housatonic Valley Regional. Medium frame with athleticism and room to fill and add strength. Solid infield actions, projects well to 3B. Smoothness in hands, arm works well, online throws with carry and projectable arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from wide base. Gap to gap hitter with pop in bat. Lift and separate mechanics. Has strength and lift in swing. Good balance at plate, projects for pop as body adds strength. On the mound, shows athleticism in delivery. Long arm circle, extended release, loose am. Work quick and fields position. Has a mound presence, throws strikes with fastball and 11/5 curveball that has depth. Good student.
