Jacob Heyward is a 2013 OF/1B with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Eagles Landing Christian Academy. Big strong physical build, larger/stronger than listed size. Right handed hitter, early stride and load, upper body swing, overpowers the ball, big power potential, very strong hands, ball jumps hard, looks to pull, will hit bombs when he learns to use his lower half better. 6.83 runner, aggressive baserunner, gets to the ball well in the outfield, arm still loosening up, can also play first base. Shows steady improvement and should continue to do so. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
