AJ Mazzurco is a 2011 OF/C with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Forest HS. Short compact build, good present strength. Open to closed hitting approach, leans back and tries to lift, has some hands strength, shows occasional lift power. 7.07 runner, good outfield arm strength, clean actions to the ball, good crow hop and balance. Also caught, shows arm strength, straight back receiver, long release, 2.00 best pop, could improve behind the plate with more work. Good student.
