Billy McCall is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Barstow, CA who attends Barstow HS. Medium athletic build, young look. Slow paced Mitch Williams type delivery, falls off hard on release but repeats arm slot, somewhat cross body, creates deception for the hitter. Fastball to 81 mph, maintained velocity, have seen up to 85 mph in the past, good consistent fastball tail away from right handed hitters. Best pitch is his slider, good shape and bite, gets 2-plane break. Has an idea how to pitch and is effective. Good student.
