Michael Rooney is a 2011 OF/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Jefferson. Rooney has a young slender build. He hits from an open stance at the plate, leg raise trigger, solid stroke, loose out front, solid contact, projects with strength. He charges the ball well in the outfield, reacts quickly, developing arm strength. He is a great student.
