Damon Haecker is a 2013 MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Brantley HS. Medium athletic build, lean strength, long legs. 7.11 runner, smooth actions defensively, soft hands and fields out front, compact release and arm action, throws carry well, accurate, has all the basic shortstop tools and should continue to improve. Switch hitter, wide stance, toe tap trigger, tends to dive in a bit, similar approaches both sides but has quicker hands and better bat speed from the left side. Good student.
