Brooks English is a 2012 3B/MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends Milton Academy. Medium build athlete with projection. Solid fielding actions on the infield. Projects at both third base and middle infield spots. Surrounds the ball and is light on feet. Arm is playable with a quick release. Left-handed bat with a straight stance at the plate. Does a good job of staying inside the ball. Short swing with a line drive plane. Centers the ball well and showed the ability to pull inside pitch as well as take outside pitch to opposite field. Very good student.
