Tyrone Perry is a 2015 1B/RHP with a 6-1 260 lb. frame from Avon Park, FL who attends Lakeland HS. Very large/very strong build, has an intimidating presence physically in the batter's box. Left handed hitter, uses his hands very well to hit the ball, enormous strength at contact with top of the line power, whippy barrel due to his hand use, can get focused on pulling the ball but is best when using the middle of the field. Has a potential impact bat with unusual hitting tools and skills. Has raw arm strength but is present a DH candidate on defense. Signed with Florida State but will be heavily scouted due to his rare power potential.
