Nick Owens is a 2014 SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Waxhaw, NC who attends Charlotte Christian. Medium frame, thin build. Aggressive defender, attacks the baseball, good defensive instincts, short arm action, good footwork, some carry on accurate throws, solid arm strength, good body control. Long swing, quick hands, projectable bat speed with increased physical strength, keeps hands inside the baseball well. Good student.
