Alex Abbott is a 2014 OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Tifton, GA who attends Tift County HS. Angular athletic build, good present strength with room for more. 7.24 runner, very good arm strength, on line accurate throws, good footwork on throws, can work through balls more cleanly and quickly, right field tools. Left handed hitter, straight stance, moves into contact well and uses his lower half, good bat speed, has some lift and power potential, loose fluid swing, stood out in batting practice, has the hitting tools to really develop, follow closely.
