McKay Petitta is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-3 240 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends East Paulding HS. Extra large build. Balanced delivery, stays over rubber well, long extended arm action, 3/4's slot, arm is loose and easy, hides ball well and has some deception, tends to open early out front. Fastball to 81 mph, have seen up to 84 mph, good cutting action at times. Tight curveball spin with good 1/7 biting action, quality second pitch. Needs to develop a change up. Has a feel for pitching and throws strikes. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
