Delgado is a 6' 195 pound 2006 catcher and third baseman from Upland, California who attends Damien High School. He has an average frame and build with some thick legs. He has a very mature body. Ryan showed some good bat speed and strength resulting in good power. He has some very loose hands and strong wrists. He swings very hard but is quick and short to the ball. He likes the ball up in the zone where he can drive the ball gap to gap. He hit a homerun to left center field that was a very hard line drive and left the park in a hurry. He also hammered a line drive back up the box that about took off the pitchers head. Delgado has an average arm throwing 75 mph from behind the plate with a 2.0 pop time. He is a very solid defensive catcher.
