Ryan Tiscareno is a 2008 right hand hitting outfielder from Central Catholic College Prep, residing in Riverbank, CA. He has a 6'3" 180 lb. frame and a strong, athletic body that has a chance to continue to be athletic, while also developing physicallity. Tiscareno is a good athlete and has baseball skills that are usable now, but project even better. Offensively the he displayed good balance during his swing and showed good bat speed. The ball jumps quite a bit off his bat, showing evidence of present day power, though there is much more in the future. He lets the ball travel well and has a chance to hit for power to all fields. Tiscareno has a chance to be a hitter who hits for average and power. He is a good athlete and in the outfield he showed good body control and good footwork. His approach to the ball is very good, which allows his arm to play up a bit from his raw arm strength. Tiscareno has a chance to play any of the three outfield positions though he looks as though he will develop into a corner outfielder in the long run. In any case, he is a D1 prospect and looks to have an outstanding chance to also develop into a good professional prospect by the '08 draft.
