Greg Belton is a 2011 SS/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Conroe HS. Medium athletic build. Quick defensive actions, good footwork to the ball, soft hands, will need to quicken release, throws carry some. Aggressive swing, stays over his back side, tends to pull off front side, good bat speed, ball jumps on contact, power all or nothing approach, made adjustments in games. Also pitched, arm strength showed better on mound than at SS, clean delivery, quick easy arm, compact arm action, FB to 85 mph, CB shows good tightness, has potential on the mound. Good student.
