Tyler Butz is a 2013 3B/OF, C with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Walford, IA who attends Prairie HS. Large athletic lean projectable frame. Long arm action from the infield, good arm strength, throws are accurate and online, good actions, soft smooth hands, makes plays, can move to both sides well. Slightly open upright at the plate, quick hands good bat speed, gap to gap hitter with pop, gets extended, short fluid smooth swing, line drive swing plane, good balance, ball comes off bat well, strength in swing. Is an interesting prospect to follow. Is a good student.
