Kevin Hickey is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends University City HS. Long limbed slender build. Big hip turn delivery, doesn't clear lower 1/2 well on release, lands closed on stiff front side, high 3/4's arm slot. Upper 70's fastball, touched 81 mph, mostly straight. Big slow curveball is effective, throws curveball for strikes more than fastball, didn't observe change up. More velocity there with delivery adjustments. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, level swing, mid field contact. Good student.
