David Banuelos is a 2014 C/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Ontario, CA who attends Damien. Big strong physical build, bigger than listed. Flexible lower half, compact actions receiving, very good raw arm strength, 1.97 game throw, inconsistent release point, still working on blocking techniques. Right handed hitter, spread no stride approach, gets shift through contact, simple swing mechanics, looks to pull and lift, ball jumps hard, good bat speed, power potential. Has all the tools to keep improving. Good student.
