Tyler Dearden is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Poughkeepsie, NY who attends Arlington. Lean, athletic player with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Good athlete on the mound, Loose arm action, quick tempo delivery. More arm strength to come. Throws from ext 3/4 to low 3/4 slot. Ball comes out of hand well and fastball has natural sink. Pounds zone with fastball, shows sink. Short breaking slurve, good command of pitch, flashed changeup. Good present pitchability. Accurate throws from outfield, hands field clean. Right handed hitter, short path to the ball, contact apporach, more to come with additional strength.
