Brody Weiss is a 2013 SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Regis Jesuit HS. Solid athletic build, has added lots of strength in the past six months. Right handed hitter, leg raise trigger, gets his foot down very well, simple swing mechanics with a very direct swing path, consistent hard pull contact, very good bat speed, really looked good at the plate, strength has translated directly to bat speed. 6.81 runner, uses speed well on the bases with a long and easy stride. Sound footwork defensively, works through the ball well, playable arm strength, tends to bend at waist instead of knees to field, has the athleticism to play any number of positions in the future.
