Carson Kaufman is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-1 179 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood HS. Tall and slender athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, calm balanced stance, high back elbow, rotational upper body swing with good bat speed and strength at contact, very good game swings with big power to left centerfield. 7.21 runner, moves well in the outfield and on the bases, strong outfield arm with a quick release, over the top arm slot. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot, rotational delivery with an early front side on release, arm works well coming through. Fastball topped at 83 mph with good cutting action on occasion. Curveball showed nice 11/5 depth at times. Threw strikes and worked quickly. Interesting overall athlete with a variety of tools.
