Ryan Alvarez is a 2015 RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Archbishop Carroll HS. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Right handed pitcher who works from a full delivery with a loose, long arm action. Works quick through delivery, front shoulder occasionally opens early, fills up zone when he stays online. Fastball topped at 73 mph, showing sinking action on the pitch. Has a feel for both a 66 mph changeup and an 11/5 curveball. Throws all three pitches around the zone. Excellent student.
