Max Schuman is a 2013 C/OF with a 6-0 198 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Arcadia HS. Medium athletic frame, extremely strong. Left handed hitter, very good bat speed, ball jumps hard, can drive the ball to the middle of the field or show lift in his swing, gets long at times looking to lift, best when driving the alleys. Young catching actions, has arm strength and athleticism, still working on receiving and exchange release, enough raw arm strength, 2.03 best pop time. Left field defensive tools in the outfield, 7.58 runner. Bat plays high and will carry him as defense develops. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
