Andres Rios is a 2014 SS/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Charles W Flanagan HS. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Rotational swing, contact approach, aggressive swing, long with gap pop, good contact ability, doesn't transfer weight through the baseball to generate power yet but has potential to do so with adjustments. Quick defensive actions, moves well, athletic defender, good footwork, solid release time, solid arm strength. Excellent student.
