Valentine is a 2005 RHP from Thornhill, ON, Can with a solid 6'1"/195 pound body. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a controlled delivery and stays tall. His fastball topped out at 83 mph and showed occasional tail and sink. He showed a small but sharp break on his 11-5 CB at 70 mph. He has good command of both pitches and he mixes his speeds well. He is a tough competitor on the hill, and he is very poised. He has a good attitude and he will be a very effective college pitcher. Sean is a very good student.
