Zach Bitzer is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends West Forsyth. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and a well proportioned frame with present strength. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm with a quick and short arm action in the back. High energy delivery, full hip turn at top, opens front side early but has a quick arm coming through that he can get on top and creates angle on pitches, stays tall at release. Spots fastball to both sides of the plate with late life on the pitch, topped out at 82 mph and projects for more with incorporation of lower half. Curveball shows short, 1-7 break with tight spin and shows a nice feel for it. Mixes both pitches together well. Very good student.
