Cole Sands is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Tallahasee, FL who attends North Florida Christian HS. Big strong athletic build. Slow paced delivery, smooth loose arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, accelerates to release. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, aggressive with fastball early in counts and works down in the zone well, occasional arm side running action. Tends to slow his arm on his off speed pitches, slurve type breaking ball with big sweeping depth at times, developing change up. Big arm strength with lots of projection. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
