Doug Sandberg is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Bloomingdale. Medium, wiry built and with outstanding athleticism and room to add strength. Plus-plus runner. Ran a 6.54 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, makes solid contact to the opposite field and flashes fast hands through the zone. Hits to the middle of the field out of a simple approach and squared stance. Flashes power potential. Gets behind his throws from the outfield and moves well. Also touches 78 mph on the mound and locates well. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
