Josh McCullar is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Sequoyah. Large, athletic frame with a young build, longer limbs and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a full arm circle coming through the back side. Shows it in back a bit, simple leg raise delivery with an easy and loose arm, gets on top of the ball well and works downhill, staying on line with lower half. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some run to arm side and did a nice job of filling up the strike zone with the ability to get low to glove side. Curveball shows nice depth with 11-5 shape when he stays on top of the pitch. Full arm circle on throws across infield, longer release, shows footwork to the ball with accuracy on throws. Right-handed hitter, shows a short and compact strong with good extension, short load at start of swing, gets to front side early at times. Good student.
