Garret Grove is a 2014 RHP/ with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Runnells, IA who attends Southeast Polk. Grove has a medium sized frame with a lean projectable build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm action. Grove has a balanced delivery and uses a high leg lift at balance point. He has a directional delivery and gets good use from his lower half. Grove repeats his delivery well and he is a strike thrower. He works quick on the mound and attacks hitters. Grove throws a 11/5 breaking ball with good shape and bite to it. His fastball projects for more velocity and his delivery is clean. Named to Top Prospect Team.
