Zack Geib is a 2012 RHP/3B, 1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Crystal Lake, IL who attends Crystal Lake South. Big, strong player with athletic frame. Pitches from high 3/4 slot. Arm action is easy and is long in the back. Shows the ball early and gets on hitters quickly with short arm action with some deception. Fastball velo sat high 70s, topping at 80 and 67 mph curveball had 11/5 break. Flashed changeup as third pitch. Short, aggressive swing at the plate with some bat speed and power potential. Good student.
