Alec Beneteau is a 2013 RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Markham, ON who attends Bill Crothers. Medium frame with lots of room to fill out. Pitches from high 3/4 slot. Simple, step and throws mechanics with some effort in delivery. Shows the ability to throw strikes with three pitches. Repeats delivery and throws a lot of strikes. Fastball sat low 70s, topping at 75. Curveball has 11/5 break and will benefit from tighter spin. Changeup at 69 is developing #3 pitch. Projects to gain some more velocity in the future as body fills out.
