Ryan Erickson is a 2014 SS/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Lumberton, TX who attends Lumberton HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. 6.70 runner, has range and athleticism, quick compact arm action with very good arm strength, throws like a catcher but moves like a shortstop, very good overall defensive tools and can probably play well all over the field. Right handed hitter, short line drive swing, stays balanced, high loose extended finish out front, showed gap to gap and opposite field power, recognizes mistakes and jumps on them aggressively. Good student.
