Brenden McKiernan is a 2014 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Sierra Madre, CA who attends Flintridge Preparatory. Medium frame, thin athletic build. Moves well, posted a solid 6.99 60 yard dash time, online throwing motion, short arm action, some carry on throws from outfield. Line drive swing plane, rotational swing, short stride, slash and run hitting approach, gets out of the box well. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, mixes and commands three pitches well, repeats delivery well, threw a lot of strikes and showed some feel for pitching. Good student.
