Donovan Futrell is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-2 171 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends American Heritage. Extra-large, athletic frame, long lean frame, high waist, projects well with added strength. Ran a 7.36 60 yard dash. Right handed pitcher, works from a three-quarter arm slot with good arm speed. Shows a polished delivery with sound tempo throughout, front shoulder occasionally opens early. Fastball topped at 82 mph and projects for more in the near future. Maintains arm speed on secondary offerings, curveball shows 11-5 break with tight spin and commands it well in the zone. Has a feel for his changeup at 75 mph which he throws for strikes. Good upside on the mound. Named to National Underclass Session 3 Top Prospect Team.
