Eric Blanc is a 2016 1B/OF with a 6-2 230 lb. frame from Temple Terrace, FL who attends Armwood HS. Blanc has a large frame with a an athletic build with strength. Defensively he has good arm strength up to 87 MPH from the outfield and 82 MPH across the infield. Blanc uses a short arm action with some life on his throws. He moves well to the baseball and has good hands on the infield and receiving throws. At the plate, Blanc starts with a high back elbow and has a rotational swing. He has good bat speed and strength in his swing. Blanc uses his lower half well in his swing and keeps his swing compact to the baseball. He showed some pop and has more power potential in there. Good hitting tools that project.
