Reid Long is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Marianna, FL who attends Marianna HS. Medium build with length and lots of room to fill. Lefty whose arm works well. Throws from low 3/4 slot. Solid arm action, shows the ball early. Stays tall in windup. Good pitchability with fastball, 1/7 curveball, and straight changeup with good arm action. Left-handed hitter with open stance. Tries to stay inside the ball. Pull approach with consistent contact and quickness in his bat. Ball comes off well when squared up. Good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
