Paul Jacobson is a 2012 OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Dakota Dunes, SD who attends Bishop Heelan HS. Large athletic frame. Raw swing mechanics prevent him from getting as much use out of his raw tools. Back side collapses, swings up and through baseball. Aggressive hitter, has bat speed, low hand load, mechanics throw off balance. Has a chance to improve significantly with mechanical tweaks and a more simplified hitting approach. Runs well, 6.70 60 yard dash time, moves well to ball in outfield, can improve balance and direction through throwing motion to increase velocity on throws. Good student.
