Timothy Brown is a 6'4"-195 lb., right handed pitcher from St. Louis, Missouri, with a very good pitcher's body and some raw arm speed. He has a full leg raise to start his delivery, and has a late hand break that causes him to rush his arm to catch up. Tim throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with a cross body stride, and has a good arm arch on the backside with a slight arm whip to his delivery. He showed a 79-80 mph fastball, 58-59 mph curveball, and a 71 mph change up. His change up was probably his best pitch, with plenty of tailing action away from right handed hitters. Tim tended to shorten his stride on his curveball and cast the pitch. While his stuff is short right now, Tim's projectable body and arm speed make him an interesting prospect for a college pitching coach. He is a very good student.
