John Whaley is a 2014 OF/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Oakville, ON who attends Loyola HS. Named to Top Prospect list. Tall, strong, mature build with potential to get stronger. Excellent athlete, ran a 6.81 60 yard dash. Gets his weight behind his throws in the outfield, arm strength is still on the way. Bats right-handed, works from a solid base and uses his low half effectively. Shows game ready power potential and makes hard contact against live pitching. Has good bat speed and very strong wrists. Attacks the ball. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
