Will Finnerty is a 2014 OF/1B, LHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Santa Fe Christian Schools. Long frame, lean build. Aggressive hitting approach with good strength at contact, line drive plane, aggressive pull approach with some pop. Showed ability to go the other way during game action as well, quite load, good extension, showed ability to hit both fastballs and offspeed pitches live. Solid defensive skills and actions in the outfield, good release time with accurate throws. Also pitched, raw mechanically on the mound but threw a lot of strikes in spite of still developing as a pitcher. Good student.
