Carter Landreth is a 2014 1B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Hillgrove HS. Solid athletic frame, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, open pre-loaded stance, low hand set, swings hard, good swing mechanics and swing path, has some lift and extension out front, good bat speed, squares the ball up well, will improve with more hitting rhythm and additional strength. 7.64 runner, playable actions at third base, best position first base, has soft hands and good footwork. Good student.
