Yasser is a 6'3" 2006 grad from Cupertino, California with an athletic, wide frame and solid build. He's projectable, with thick calves and long arms and legs and should continue to add strength. Yasser throws from a standard 3/4's arm slot with good arm speed and looseness out front. He topped out at 86 mph on his fastball and there's more in his arm as he gets stronger. Yasser's curveball has a slurvish break with some spin and bite at 71 mph. Look for him to keep improving and become a solid pitcher at the next level. Yasser also showed some potential with the bat. He used his present strength and leverage well and the ball jumped when he centered the ball, especially to right centerfield. Yasser is also a very good student.
