Tim Burr is a 2013 LHP/OF/1B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Alvin, TX who attends Alvin HS. Strong solid build. Compact arm action, 3/4's release point, hides ball well, can get more from front side and lower half in delivery, throws downhill, stays balanced. Fastball to 81 mph, good arm side running action and occasional sink, shows curveball potential with tight spin, gets same nice life on change up as on fastball, solid 3 pitch mix that should improve. Left handed hitter, busy wrapped start, swings hard, shows strength, timing off at times, good extension through contact, shows bat speed and flashes home run power, some hitting potential, 7.34 runner. Very good student.
