Avery Liu is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano HS. Liu has a young athletic build with room to fill out. Hits from an open stance, leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane with bat speed, pull side approach, is a little stiff but has strength in swing with good power potential. Line drives have good backspin. Defensively, long loose arm action, accurate throws, good actions to the ball. Throws are online. Outstanding Student.
