Jalen Luter is a 2015 1B/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Sparkman HS. Shorter compact build, good present strength. Left handed hitter, has quick strong hands, good short path to the ball, some uppercut in his swing plane, ball comes off his barrel hard, looks to pull, aggressive hitter with hitting tools. Nice defensive actions at first base, soft hands and picks the ball well, moves well and has athletic footwork, makes plays, lacks the present arm strength for the outfield. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
