Chase Uter is a 2015 C/3B/RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Pace Academy. Medium, strong build and has room to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a closed, upright setup and gets long at times. Shows quick hands and squares the ball consistently. Has good balance and hits to the middle of the field. Shows quick feet from behind the plate and sound receiving actions. Strong throwing arm plays well. Also took the mound, works from a long, high three-quarter arm slot and reaches 78 mph with his fastball. Has moving parts to his delivery. Flashes cut action on his fastball. Mixes an 11-5 curveball and a changeup with some feel. Excellent student.
