Sammy White is a 2014 LHP/ with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends Spanish River Community. Large athletic frame with a strong build. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with smooth easy repeatable mechanics. Throws a heavy straight change which he maintains his arm speed on, has good feel for his 12-6 curveball which uses as his out pitch. Has good command of all his pitches and is aggressive with his fastball to get ahead early. Uses a slide step delivery from the stretch and is quick to the plate which allows him to control the run game well. Is an intriguing prospect to follow and an excellent student.
