Steven McDuffey is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-3 167 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Montgomery HS. Tall slender build, plenty of room to get stronger. Sound delivery mechanics, stays balanced and repeats delivery, 3/4's release point. Fastball topped at 79 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink, short breaking 70 mph curveball, throws curveball for strikes, some developing feel for change up, throws strikes with all pitches and mixes it up, challenges hitters. Right handed hitter, downward swing plane, uses hands to hit, pull contact. Good athletic actions at first base on defense, good footwork. Good student.
